(1)<\/strong> ALL (or nearly all) of a degree earned through CLEPs <\/p>\n 1.<\/strong> Super great study skills\/tester <\/p>\n NOTE: While one consideration is a great testing\/outstanding study skills, oftentimes the students who have those skills do not enjoy CLEPping as they love to go to school, take classes, etc.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n 1.<\/strong> Research degrees available thoroughly (Thomas Edison College or College Plus Program) <\/p>\n 1.<\/strong> The CLEPped class does not affect GPA <\/p>\n 1.<\/strong> Choose potential majors and list all courses each major requires (print these off from <\/p>\n 1.<\/strong> Accelerated Distance Learning<\/a> by Brad Voeller (affiliate link) <\/p>\n
\n(2)<\/strong> CLEP in lieu of taking courses in your degree (to save time and money)<\/p>\nALL CLEP (or Nearly All) Considerations<\/h2>\n
\n2.<\/strong> Doesn\u2019t mind having a less \u201cdistinguished degree\u201d
\n3.<\/strong> Is getting a less specialized degree (more liberal arts\/humanities\/social
\nwork\/history\/psychology, communications, etc.)
\n4.<\/strong> Can save TONS of money (especially over living on campus and getting a degree)<\/p>\nALL CLEP (or Nearly All) STEPS<\/h2>\n
\n2.<\/strong> Hone study skills
\n3.<\/strong> Make a plan (College Plus does this for you\u2014week by week, test by test; Thomas Edison College has the degrees laid out, but you determine your study schedule\/testing schedule)<\/p>\nCLEP Some Classes Considerations<\/h2>\n
\n2.<\/strong> Great way to get some courses behind you (especially while still in high school)
\n3.<\/strong> Save some money (potentially one year of college?)
\n4.<\/strong> Have to really know where you\u2019re headed for this to save time and money (otherwise you might CLEP a class that your college will not accept or that is not needed for your

\n2.<\/strong> Venn diagram or highlight the ones that merge
\n3.<\/strong> List all potential colleges
\n4.<\/strong> From the merged list of classes, see which classes are able to be CLEPped from
